Salvadoran mother and grew up in my family&#8217;s restaurant, where I learned the secrets of cooking at an early age. When I was 18, I moved to Germany to start a new life. The first few years were tough. I tried to study, but it didn&#8217;t work out, and that&#8217;s when I discovered my true passion: cooking.   <\/p><p>I started training as a chef in Osnabr\u00fcck, but my dream seemed to be shattered when the company went bankrupt after a year. Determined not to give up, I returned to El Salvador and worked at the InterContinental for seven months. This experience gave me new energy and perspectives. Back in Germany, I continued my training in idyllic Oberjoch in the Allg\u00e4u region and learned from the best chefs.   <\/p><p>After completing my apprenticeship, I joined a fine dining restaurant in the Allg\u00e4u region. In 2022, Jorge came into my life, was impressed by my skills and offered me an exciting project in Frankfurt. I accepted this new challenge with enthusiasm.  <\/p><p>Today, at Sabor Restaurant, I combine the best of Ibero-American cuisine with regional ingredients and a philosophy of sustainability. After many years as a chef, I am ready to offer an authentic and innovative culinary experience. <\/p><p>My favorite dish? Ceviche, with fresh fish in a lime marinade, refined with onions, coriander and chili. I&#8217;m Jorge, born in the north of Mexico and raised by a wonderful family, which means big family gatherings on Sundays with lots of food and music. While my early career focused on production and numbers, I have always had a passion for the culinary arts and the joy that food brings to people&#8217;s lives. Today, I work as COO of Rioca and am co-founder of Sabor Restaurant.   <\/p><p>My journey has taken me to many countries &#8211; Mexico, the USA, Brazil, Germany, Australia and Spain. In each place, I have had the opportunity to meet wonderful people, enjoy local dishes and immerse myself in the local culture through food. Culinary experiences have always been my way of connecting with the world and spreading joy.  <\/p><p>I always wanted to create a place where people could experience the magic of food and the warm service that unites cultures and brings happiness. And also present the best flavors of different Ibero-American cultures &#8211; that&#8217;s Sabor! <\/p><p>If you can&#8217;t come to Mexico to eat tacos, then come to Sabor and enjoy tacos with us. My first visit to Rio was in 2004 during Carnival, and I was immediately captivated by the vibrant culture, the infectious energy and the warm hospitality of the people. Rio became my true home, more than anywhere else. Over the past 20 years, I have returned to Brazil regularly, always drawn to the spirit and joy of the place and its people.   <\/p><p>Inspired by these experiences, I founded Rioca &#8211; the Brazilian design hotel. Rioca captures the essence of Rio and offers guests an authentic slice of Brazilian hospitality. Each of our hotels is designed to create a sense of community and belonging, reflecting the spirit of Rio.  <\/p><p>My favorite dish? A perfectly grilled picanha served with traditional Brazilian rice and grilled vegetables &#8211; a true testament to my love of fresh, quality food.
